Good and safe for small chicken coops. Doesn't radiate much heat over a large area, though.
This is perfect for me. All 8 chicks were able to burrow comfortably under it to keep warm.
My chicks love it. I like the height adjustment. The temperature settings are great. High is the right setting for chicks. You should still get a thermometer to keep a close eye on things.
Gosh I want to love this product. I have a rescue chick and I ordered this heater for 2 day shipping because she was cold. It worked for 24 hours. She was content and didn't sneak a peek from the chick.
